What is 'anime'? Karaktiristisk Japanese cartoons often based on 'manga' comics Uses clear and stylized action to portray characters and environments have been a small impact in Norway by Chihiro and witches had theatrical distribution Embracing also animated television series, which is very popular in Japan
Did you know that one of the most popular franschisene for children is based on the Japanese manga and anime? scooby doo cartoons The last ten years have Norwegian players, film and television viewers got acquainted with Pokémon, a worldwide franchise based on a distinctive cultural expressions from the Far East.
Shinichiro Watanabe has worked to spread anime culture to the West, including by working on America's first animated film inspired by anime. He also directed one of the shorts in Animatrix anthology, where international filmmakers were asked to create short glimpse of the universe that surrounds the film story in The Matrix.
In particular, I recall it slowly so legendary Japanese underground producer Nujabes, who made a name for himself in several scooby doo cartoons environments for their interpretation of hip hop culture and jazz (check super song "Shooting Stars" on YouTube here external link).
Same guy behind the strange mixture of samurai / hiphop in Samurai Champloo is also behind scooby doo cartoons Cowboy Bebop. The series is about a group of bounty hunters traveling around space for capturing intergalactic fugitives.
For those who are looking for a bit of the old ultraviolence can Hellsing is highly recommended: tough vampire action with one of the most badass vampire in the lead role, weird improv jazz-rock and Latin choir on the soundtrack, and enough blood to meet the most .
Would also point out a mistake (?) In the article. Pokémon scooby doo cartoons did not start that neither the manga or anime, scooby doo cartoons but that game on Gameboy. scooby doo cartoons It was based on the incredible popularity of the games that Nintendo had decided to milk the concept of anime, manga and other merchandise.

Assuming you are referring to Berserk? In that case I would rather recommend the manga, which in my eyes is the best ever comic. Anima is ok, but not near the manga. scooby doo cartoons It is rumored, however, that there will be a new anime series based on Berserk.
The "rumored" nothing, it has already been announced several Trilere and various info about the new season. The first of three films to deal with the story of the original anime, will launch Tues Japan sometime this winter.
Did Death Note is good I Anyhow first half of the series .. If it is mentioned scooby doo cartoons in another comment as well. Insanely great! Like Naruto too. You know there are many who hate it, but I still think it's cool as long as you skip the fillers.
By anime movies I can recommend Ghost in the shell. Unbelievable, cyberpunk sci-fi with a deep history are existential. Suitable for hobby philosophers. Memories of Blade Runner and The Matrix both aesthetically scooby doo cartoons and in terms of story. scooby doo cartoons Furthermore, both the Wachowski scooby doo cartoons brothers and James Cameron mentioned Ghost in the shell as a great source of inspiration.
Some newer stuff:
"Basilisk" - taken over the legacy scooby doo cartoons of the classic "Ninja Scroll" as brutal action, but in serial form. Comes complete with special abilities of each fighter and heavy-metal opening music;)
Ergo Proxy and Claymore scooby doo cartoons are two very good (but two completely different) Anime Series. If you like vampire team, then Hellsing very good, but Trinity Blood and Blood + is good. (Blood + is the way the history of "Blood the last vampire movie.) Elfen Lied and Berserk are plenty of special interests, although I personally scooby doo cartoons think they were very exciting. One has almost find out what you like and what you do not like, here as with everything else ;)
I think Macross Frontier is extremely good. Otherwise I have to agree that Hellsing is great for those who like vampires and such. Ghost In The Shell Stand Alone Complex 1 & 2 are also
