This past week, the fifth installment to the Ultimate Ninja Storm series was released upon the world. While aesthetically similar to previous installments – which is alright with me as the art style perfectly imitates the anime – Revolution strives to up the ante in several different ways, most of which are successful.
The first exciting new feature would have to be the revamped fighting system. That said, combat can begin to feel pretty repetitive on the lower difficulty in single player and in online matches.
The new modes are the biggest selling points for Revolution . The Ninja Escapades mode is a must-play for any Naruto fan. Supervised by the creator of Naruto himself, Masashi Kishimoto, the mode delves into background stories not shown in the anime or manga, such as the early days of Akatsuki. The mode is pretty short and all the stories can probably be finished in about 3-4 hours, but that is excused mainly by the expansive adventure mode, Ninja World Tournament.
Interspersed across an open-world island map, Ninja World Tournament has you duke it out in four-way battles with collecting the most orbs as your objective. These battles are reminiscent of multiplayer modes in games like Power Stone 2 , forcing the player tom i jerry po polsku to focus on every angle and play smart as chakra and fists fly all over the arena. What CyberConnect2 needs to do now is focus on refining the combat system they currently have to encourage higher-level play and diversity in t
