Who said that Hayao Miyazaki finally retiring? Now the largest producer of Japanese animation films announced, "I will do the animation until I die I like to draw and tell stories.". The mangaka 73 years, however, states that he will not have the energy to make another animated feature: The Wind that Shakes was well and truly last. Hayao Miyazaki will instead focus on the production of short films intended to be shown to visitors to the Ghibli Museum, dedicated to the achievements of the animation studio. The filmmaker will have to worry about and the commercial success of its products, which relieves a lot.
Hayao Miyazaki will also be awarded an honorary Oscar for his entire career at the Governors Awards (the Oscars ceremony lion king music earlier) to be held on November 8 in the US. The director said he was very honored to receive this award, despite his reluctance to make the trip from Japan. Remember, Hayao Miyazaki received the Oscar for best animated film in 2003 for Spirited Away. Two of her cartoons, Howl's Moving Castle lion king music (2005) and The Wind that Shakes (2014) were nominated for the same award.
