Free ABC poster for them to learn the alphabet! When the kids need to learn their ABCs, why not summon help from the known, loved and colorful superheroes from the DC Comics universe that kids know from the comics, movies, games and LEGO.
I've just created this poster for my son at 3 , as it is beginning to be the time he learns his ABC. Thanks to LEGO, he has had a great fascination for colorful superheroes from DC comics universe, so it was natural to use this treasure trove of figurines. In the absence of an ABC poster with them in advance, I have to make it yourself.
First I had to find figures for all the letters. B for Batman, Superman S, R for Robin. spongebob s O ... Obsidian?! It was not always easy to find a shape to a letter - and sometimes there were many characters the same, so I had to make a priority, which shape could be my son like best. Hence one example. Alfred in which A, when my boy often talking about Alfred and Batman are "really good friends". In order to make room for more characters, for example. Lex Luthor is nowhere to be found under L, which otherwise would think, spongebob s but in X (LeX) - so I got room for lightning and relax for the headache of finding a figure that starts with X. And then there quite conservative kindergarden in æ, ø and å (by apple, spongebob s island and eel).
Whenever possible, I have stuck to the characters' Danish names - if they at some point have had it. Therefore, we have for example. Aquarius instead of Aquaman - when he went under the Danish name in 60s comics. But it is not entirely consistent - eg. I would like to call Two-Face for Tofjæs which he has been called in Danish, but what races are run MHT son who only know him by his English name.
Then I went online to find appropriate images for the characters. Here there was again some that were really easy and fast (2 minutes), while others proved to be a challenge (I spent over an hour trying to find a suitable picture spongebob s of Wonder Woman). Beyond even the letter and figure, I have also put the character's name and secret identity - this is to help those parents who may not even be immersed spongebob s into the DC universe. You're welcome. In each bubble behind the figures, there is a comic side, where they are included in.
The son was delirious with the poster (which measures 58 x 90 cm) - and the first day he had memorized "S for Superman, T for Two-Face and U for Ultra Boy". And it's great to see him follow the letters outline with his finger ... I think damn poster works! I have received spongebob s excellent feedback for the poster, so I decided to make it available for free right here. You can download a print-ready PDF (it takes up about 50 MB), and print it out at home, or send it to the pressure of a professional (I can recommend the cheap Lasertryk.dk in Aarhus).
IF YOU DOWNLOAD poster and get it printed, do very, very happy to take a picture of it (possibly in use), and send it to me (on udgang99@gmail.com) - then I'll be REALLY happy! FREE DOWNLOAD
Hear needs!
Hello, hello - how are you? I finally opened my own website again (this is where you are now!), After having been without one for 4-5 years. It's also why it's a little empty right now. For maximum a few articles - but if you come back later, I promise you (almost) that probably should be more to look at. Please feel free to send my an email if you want to play. Seen.
